Our Challenge: Tourism NZ wanted to shift their brand beyond showcasing just our nation’s beautiful scenery to have a stronger emphasis on our people and culture. So when they needed help encouraging new visitors to start planning a trip here, we reflected our nation’s welcoming nature to show how here in New Zealand, you don’t have to travel far to be treated like a local.
Our Story: Our campaign was centred around a travelling couple who’s experience with our people leads them on an amazing journey. This was led by a hero video which sets up our story and drove initial awareness, followed by a series of retargeting videos and social assets focused on helping our audience plan for a trip around our four key regions. Each time, reminding the world how everyone is welcomed with open arms.
