The Cryptid Factor Podcast is the Brainchild of Actor and comedian Rhys Darby, documentarian David Farrier and Augusto co-founder Leon ‘Buttons’ Kirkbeck. Started rather awkwardly as a live radio show on a local dance music station in 2008, it quickly went online – and is now New Zealand’s longest running podcast – with a global fanbase, seeing the podcast most listened to by audiences in the USA and UK.
The three hosts (David Farrier is now replaced by No Such Thing as a Fish podcast host – Dan Schreiber) take a sideways look into all the strange topics in this world that are yet to be defined by science – therefore don’t be surprised to hear the conversations bend towards Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, UFO’s, time travel and parallel universes… just for starters!
