NZTech reached out to us through AMO Studios to develop the visual brand identity for their newly adopted story platform ‘We See Tomorrow First’. The goal was to create a single unifying brand narrative that confidently stands out on the international stage while celebrating our unique geography and culture.
Starting with the logo, we designed a uniquely New Zealand emblem from which all other aspects of the brand identity stem. The five interwoven koru represent the collaboration found at the heart of our tech sector and the momentum inherent in the industry. And paired with the word mark it conveys the broader ‘NZ Story’ values of pōtiki and kaitiaki, resulting in a logo that is understood simply and internationally. This was then developed into a full suite of assets for members of the tech industry to freely use across their websites, pitch decks, keynotes and conference collateral.

As the story begins to roll out across the world in 2022, key industry names like Rocket Labs, Xero and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare have already begun to incorporate the assets into their own communications, and NZ Tech expects a similarly positive response from its 1,600 strong membership.
