BRONZE EPICA FOR AUGUSTO LIONS TOUR EVENT MARK
Augusto has been awarded a bronze Epica in the category of graphic design for their creation of AIG’s British and Irish Lions Tour event mark.
The logo acts as a celebration of the rivalry between the two teams and features the iconic silver fern incorporated into the mane of a lion.
The mark was used in a variety of ways across more than 200 pieces of unique collateral, ranging from embroidery on clothing merchandise to billboards, digital signage, ID cards, videos and even the gold foil on menus to name a few.
Most importantly, having a unique mark gave AIG the opportunity to show their visibility and support for the game of rugby in the home of rugby itself, New Zealand. And with a core group of 50 VIPs flying in from overseas and over 1000 other unique guests attending AIG events, the mark was an integral element of the look, feel and spirit of AIG’s activity during the Tour.
